How Bin There Dump That Gives Back to the Community

At Bin There Dump That we have a strong reputation for caring about our customers and their property, but we also like to make a positive contribution to the communities we live and operate in. We’re always looking for ways we can give back and we’re proud to be able to say we embody community spirit wherever our franchises are located. Here are some of the ways we get involved in making our communities better places to live.

Local Franchisee Involvement

Sometimes the best way to give back to a community that’s welcomed you is to contribute to local organizations that are always facing funding challenges. Examples are charities and non-profits such as local shelters, churches, community centers and other worthwhile causes. Our franchise owners are involved in all of these types of organizations. This is encouraged at the national level and we’re always happy to hear about local franchisees contributing to their communities. We believe positive community involvement is good for business and it’s the right thing to do.

Local Habitat for Humanity Chapters

Many of our franchisees are also directly involved in local Habitat for Humanity chapters. This organization is making the dreams of families in need come true every day by building them quality homes to not only live in, but to call their own. Freeing a family of the burden of a mortgage that they can’t afford is a noble goal and that’s what Habitat for Humanity does. Local businesses like ours contribute time, resources, property and expertise to these projects and we’re proud to be one of the many contributors.

Therapeutic Paws of Canada

Our mental health is something many of us struggle with every day. This might be because of a job loss, an unexpected illness, or it may just be due to loneliness. The folks at Therapeutic Paws of Canada are an organization that works hard to help people with their mental health struggles by providing animals to help boost their mood.

Many studies have shown the values of animals such as dogs in helping to provide social comfort and a much-neededlift. This organization visits hospitals, retirement homes and schools bringing their animals with them to help put a smile on people’s faces when they need it the most. Bin There Dump That is proud to be a national sponsor of Therapeutic Paws of Canada.

Team Epping and the Grand Slam of Curling

There are many ways to give back to our communities and we are always looking for new ways to do just that. That’s why we also believe in supporting the sports and athletes that entertain and capture our hearts. One way we’ve done this is through a national sponsorship with the Grand Slam of Curling and Team Epping. Curling is a fantastic sport and its popularity is growing worldwide. Providing financial support for teams such as the Epping crew is our way of thanking them for entertaining us every year at the Grand Slam of Curling.
