Recommended size options:

9-Yard Bin
The 9-yard bin is ideal for tight job sites or space-restricted driveways, especially in downtown Halifax. Its compact 7-foot width makes it easy to position without blocking traffic or workflow.
It holds about 4 pickup truck loads—perfect for small projects or quick cleanup when a full-size bin isn’t required.
Bin dimensions: 9 ft long × 7 ft wide × 4 ft high

14-Yard Bin
The 14-yard bin is built for busy job sites and renovation debris. With the same footprint as our 20-yard bin but lower 4.5-foot walls, it’s easier to load heavy materials like drywall, lumber, and cabinetry.
It holds about 5 pickup truck loads—big enough for tough projects without being oversized.
Bin dimensions: 11 ft long × 8 ft wide × 4.5 ft high

20-Yard Bin
Our largest and most popular bin, the 20-yard is ideal for full-home renovations, demolitions, and new construction. The tall 6-foot sides make it easy to load materials like framing, drywall, insulation, flooring, roofing, and other bulky debris.
It holds about 8 pickup truck loads and still fits in a single parking space.
Bin dimensions: 11 ft long × 8 ft wide × 6 ft high

Frequently Asked Questions
The construction facility accepts most construction or renovation materials (like drywall, wood, yard waste), and recyclable materials (cardboard, bottles, etc.).
They also take regular garbage, but rates depend on how much of your load is construction material versus household waste.
Check out our disposal guide for more details.
They do not accept hazardous materials (chemicals, batteries, propane tanks, etc.), as well as food or pet waste.
Check out our disposal guide for more details.
Clean loads (e.g. only shingles or treated wood) cost less than mixed construction debris. If you’re able to keep materials separate, it can help reduce your overall cost.

Yes. If you need multiple bins for a large job or want to separate materials, just let us know and we’ll coordinate the timing.
We offer fast, next-day service. If you call us early, we’ll do our best to get you a bin the same day if our schedule allows.
No, just give us placement instructions when booking and we’ll handle the rest.
We won’t know the exact weight until we get to the dump, but a full 9-yard bin is often around 1 tonne; while a 14 or 20-yard bin is usually closer to 2 or 3 tonnes.
Weight depends on material type and how full the bin is. If you’re not sure what to expect, we’re happy to help you estimate based on your project.
