Hi all, we are Mark Huntjens and Alena Bowden, Bin There Dump That Franchise Operators for Victoria. We moved to Vancouver Island in 2003. We decided to settle in the beautiful town of Victoria where we could raise our children Peyton(8), Madison(5), and Hudson(2).
We've proudly put in over 35 years of combined service in the Justice Field, but we felt it was time for a change. Together we set out and searched for a business that involved being outdoors, helping people and keeping the Island green. Now, joining the Bin There Dump That Family means we can pursue our dreams.
We're excited to provide clean, green, and residential friendly bins to Vancouver Island through the unique Bin There Dump That disposal service.
Victoria has many amazing landscapes, cultural activities and amenities, and historical roots to explore. Stay at one of the reputable accommodations or experience the shops and attractions in Victoria's two heritage downtowns. Savour the flavours of all four seasons at Victoria's many dining and shopping establishments. From May to October, the farmers welcome you to pick produce on their farms or you can visit them at the Victoria Farmer's Market.
The Victoria Farmer's Market has offered fresh produce and hand-crafted items since 1997. The Durham Region Farmers' Market Association provides this opportunity to local farmers, growers, producers, artists, and crafts people supporting the region's economy. Space is rented by the week or season and new vendors are always welcome. Local non-profit and church groups can also participate in their fundraising sales at the market.
Stroll the streets or take one of Victoria's many heritage walking tours, visit the Port Victoria Marina, or engage in the many sports and recreation opportunities available, including sailing lessons. If you are new to the community or just visiting for a short while, you can get a glimpse of all that Victoria has to offer by visiting Victoria's Community Center which has many ways for residents and visitors to experience Victoria's natural environment.
Victoria maintains 125 parks with 950 acres of active parkland, over 1000 acres of passive open space, and approximately 60 kilometres of trails. Beaches, gazebos and picnic areas are wonderful places to relax and enjoy your leisure time. Skateboard parks, splash pads, sports fields and tennis courts will help keep you active while enjoying the outdoors.
