Locally Owned, Veteran Owned, Based in Metro Atlanta

Who We Support Around Atlanta

Being local means supporting local, not just businesses, but more importantly local charities and nonprofits that support local our communities. From Stockbridge to Roswell we have had worked with just about every community.

That means when a local charity, a neighborhood festival or the county needs a bin, we are a phone call or email away rather than a purchase order away.

Here is who we work with.

Looking for a Sponsor or a Donated Bin?

We get more requests than we can say yes to, and we would rather be straight about that than leave anyone waiting. We prioritize organizations in the territories we actually serve, and most of what we give is in kind rather than cash.

Call 404-692-2838 or email atl@bintheredumpthat.com and tell us what the project is, what dates you need, and where it would go. If we can help, we will tell you quickly.

Charities We Work With

Sunshine on a Ranney Day logo

Sunshine on a Ranney Day

Sunshine on a Ranney Day builds bedrooms, bathrooms and therapy rooms for children with special needs across metro Atlanta, at no cost to the family. A child who could not get into their own bathroom ends up with one built around them.

We provide the bins for their build projects at no charge, whenever they need them, and Bin There Dump That Atlanta is listed in their partner directory.

Lifecycle Building Center logo

Lifecycle Building Center

Lifecycle Building Center takes usable building materials out of the waste stream and puts them back into the community. The program we are most involved in is ReUse-NLT, where lumber from film and television sets is collected, sorted and remanufactured into nail-laminated timber panels that can be used in new construction. Oak Ridge National Laboratory found the result is 63 percent cheaper to produce and uses 70 percent less energy than the same product made from new lumber.

We donate the containers and the hauling that make that collection possible, including the placement at Electric Owl Studios, and we provide bins at no cost at their facility on Murphy Avenue.

NARI Cares Atlanta logo

NARI Cares

NARI Cares is the charitable arm of NARI Atlanta, the remodeling industry association we belong to. Member companies donate the labor and the materials to renovate a home or a facility for someone who needs the work done and cannot pay for it. We donate the dumpsters.

The LOVETRAIN. NARI Cares’ first project, built with Children Helping Children, a charity that teaches Atlanta kids to be philanthropic leaders. An Airstream trailer was renovated into a rolling donation hub. Children on the giving side load it with food, clothes, school supplies and toys; children on the receiving side get those deliveries, and sometimes an art therapy or wellness session inside the trailer itself.

The Cat Cottage. The rebuild of the cat housing at PAWS Atlanta in Decatur, which ran through the NARI Cares account in late 2025.

The Lyons project. A home renovation for a veteran, underway in 2026.

PAWS Atlanta logo

PAWS Atlanta

PAWS Atlanta has been a no-kill shelter since 1966, one of the oldest in Georgia, out on Covington Highway in Decatur.

The Cat Cottage. The cottage sits in a building from the early 1950s, and by 2025 it was coming apart. Water damaged cabinets, flooring soft enough that it was close to caving in, and a little more damage every time the place flooded. PAWS took the problem to Lifecycle Building Center, who donated the cabinets and several hundred square feet of plank flooring. NARI Atlanta and Alair Homes brought everyone together. We brought the bins and hauled out the demo, including the roof tear off. Flapjack, the three legged cat who runs the place, has been back on duty ever since.

Party for the Paws. We donate a bin to their fundraiser every year. It goes into the silent auction as a seven day, 15 yard rental, and somebody walks away with a cleanout they were putting off anyway.

We also send bins out whenever PAWS has work of their own at the shelter.

Festivals and Events We Sponsor

Ormewood Park Makers Festival logo

Ormewood Park Makers Festival

A day-long street festival in Ormewood Park that brings a few thousand people out for local art, music and food. We have been an in-kind sponsor for two years, providing a 20 yard bin for the week of the festival so the organizers and the vendors have somewhere to put everything when the street comes down.

The first year, the sponsorship came with a vendor booth. We did not need it, so we passed it to Lifecycle Building Center and let them have the day to meet the neighborhood.

NARI Atlanta Chapter logo

NARI Atlanta

The National Association of the Remodeling Industry’s Atlanta chapter is where most of the remodelers, designers and trade partners in this market know each other. We have been an annual chapter sponsor for several years.

Kurt, our owner, chairs the Brew Bash committee. Brew Bash is the chapter’s largest event of the year, held each June, and we sponsor it on top of helping put it on. The 2026 event was at Mutation Brewing in Sandy Springs.

NARI Cares, the chapter’s charitable arm, is where several of the projects above started.

Out in the Community

September Saturdays

Douglas County and the City of Douglasville put on the area’s largest annual community celebration across two Saturdays every September, with thousands of residents out for it. We bring a truck over and provide the dumpsters for the event.

Touch-a-Truck Events

We take a truck and a bin out to touch-a-truck events around the metro so kids can climb on a real one. It is one of the better parts of the job.

Wreaths Across America

As a veteran owned company, this one matters to us. Wreaths are placed on headstones at national cemeteries, and we take part.
